Some tard tried to scam me today lol.
I saw this one coming before the guy on his mule even sent the trade.
Good luck scamming, the only way you are going to get away with scamming like this is if your victim is a half-brain retard.

There's nothing ideal about being real, there's so many flaws to cover and conceal.

Trade scams like this seem like they would be really easy to pull off, lol. Not many people would notice things like that, especially inexperienced venders.

I don't click any links on gaia, perio. That's how one of my 2005 accounts were hacked, clicking a link that led to a charity.

You tried.
All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.

I don't get the diff between any gen items, they all seem to do the same stuff.

Scamming seems like a dying way to fool people on Gaia.
The only people who fall for anything anymore are newbies looking for quick gold, since most people play it safe with their cherished accounts.

@Flaming Falcon
They all have the same, but gen 1 can/will sell higher than gen 3 so its that sorta thing.
I could see that scam working. it's a horrible thing, but I could see it working easily. I always check mine. but you get some one who is questing and offer a trade I could see them jumping on it. Almost makes me wanna try and see if it works xD

Yeah I know they all go for different prices but why have replicas of an item? :/
- 04 Jun. 2013 11:09pm #18
I have no clue what any of that means, so I guess I'd be dumb enough to fall for it.
Although I'd probably not give a shit to do the trade since I don't know what those items even are.

Hehehe nice try
- 07 Jun. 2013 02:46pm #20
In all honesty I don't even know the difference, even after you highlighted all of that stuff, haha.
Anywhere care to enlighten me? Because now I'm moderately concerned ;P

As I understand it, there are Gaia items with the same name -- when he proposed a trade, he linked to a particular valuable item by that name. When the trade was being made, he instead added a much lesser valuable item by the same name in hopes that the receiver wouldn't notice the swap.
