Suck it coffincase!
or kain
or whoever wants to punch me for my animations.
This guide will go over what you need to do to create an animated image in photoshop!
First open photoshop and get your image ready...
So this is my 1337 base, we're going to animate the text.
Spoiler:
REMEMBER TO KEEP YOUR TEXT LAYER SEPARATE FROM THE OTHERS.
Now we're going to click the tab and switch our PS mode to "motion"
NOW THAT YOU HAVE THAT... select your text layer, and move it to where you want it to start out.
I moved mine all the way off the canvas to the left.
Next you want to make sure your timing is set to no delay, where it says "10 sec" click the arrow and change to "no delay". Unless you want a stupid shit ass animation.
And duplicate your current frame at the bottom
Now move your text to where you want it to end up, in the new, duplicated, frame.
Now duplicate that frame and move your text back to where it started out (first frame for you dumb bitches). You should have 3 frames now, the beginning, where you want it to go, and the end (duplicate of beginning).
((Or you can alt+click and drag the first frame to the end of the timeline to duplicate it easier.))
Duplicate your middle frame a lot because you want it to stay there a bit so people can read it...
(I usually dupe it about 10-15 times)
Now you select the first middle frame (the one right after the beginning frame) and select tween.
Tween is the button that looks like (your) ballz, click it and change your settings to match mine, or at least something like it.
But you must keep the "previous frame" otherwise you will kill yourself and you should if you don't
Select okay, and bam you've got an animation.
Use the same settings and tween the last frame, use less frames if you want it to leave faster than it entered.
Now you've got your animation. You can mess around with it and add a bounce or whatever to the enter... IDK/IDC
To upload this to the internet you have to choose "save for web and devices".
You'll notice the animation goes faster in the preview, and it will go faster on the internet so you
may have to consider using longer tweens, but since this is a guide and stupid example I don't care about that.
Remember to change your looping options to "forever"!
Here's the result

I'll show you how to do "more complex" animations like fading in and out in another guide.

All those rude remarks aren't actually funny, you're starting to remind me of minora :/
Other than that, useful guide, I'd just fix the language since it's stickied now, js.

This is awesome! Now all I need is a tutorial on how to edit gifs that already existed, frame-by-frame, haha. I've tried to do it with GIMP and Paint.NET, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet D: Like adding captions and additions and stuff into GIFs.

I dunno, Chief. I'll admit that's kinda silly of you. Freeware is freeware, yo.
Just make sure you grab the activation code adobe provides for it or it won't work~
