Yo
dawgz today you will learn how to convert and edit a movie clip/video in photoshop!
First of all make sure you don't try to open a whole fucking video in photoshop.
Pre-edit and cut down the video to only what you want to see and than we can get started...
This is going to be my base for the tutorial.
Spoiler:

Now I'm going to assume you have your video cut down to a good size,
click the file tab and go to import 'video frames to layers'

If this happened to you than you need to either find your 32-bit PS or download it.

Search your computer for photoshop and click the one that is not 64-bit.

Now that you have PS 32-bit open you will select video frames
to layers again and use these settings (should be default).

You're video has just been converted into a gif, you may stop here and save for web and devices if you like
or you can continue to add words on to it.
Make sure you're set on motion

•You can see now you've got a shitload of layers,
each layer represents a frame in the animation so don't freak out...
(also don't mess with the visibility of the layers)
Create a new layer for the text, although PS should put the text on a new layer automatically.
Remember, select the top and highest number layer so that the text will be visible at all times.

Next find the frame where you want the text
to appear and select the frame BEFORE that one and make it invisible.
Now select convert to timeline animation (little star arrow button thing)

Now find your layer which should be at the top if you followed my directions
correctly. Click the arrow next to the name and you will see a change in opacity.
•the change is the little gray box on the timeline

Delete the first little box in the timeline, this will
make the text invisible until the point you wanted it to appear.

Boom// you've got an animated image with a text caption!
save for web and devices and you're all set.

The finished product...
