I don't know how popular this suggestion is going to be, but I feel that there should be an area in the JY where new members have to post for the 24 hours of being a member and the post count wouldn't count there, and they can't post outside of it until that 24 hour window has passed. This would help to weed out the people that are only joining for hacks and are spamming the 10 required posts.
I recall the post spamming for hacks being a huge thing back in the day and that was solved by the UG, but since no one has applied for UG in almost a year, I feel that creating a sandbox style area where newbies have to post so we can weed out the bad seeds would be beneficial to the site over-all. It would also give us an idea of who has actually returned and has intentions of returning.

Sounds good but still even then, when I first joined I registered waited a few days then posted xP
Just because I know if I joined and posted like a mother fucker like half of these people I would end up getting B&'d...
But yeah it sounds like a good temporary resolution. Also I was not aware of the UG and is it still "there"?

Like require all posts be made in Introductions for the first 24 hours?
I'm not opposed.
First post has to be in Introductions, and all posts within 24 hours limited to Introductions.

I can't find a better solution than this. I hate the spam that is going on and the useless topics being made by newbies.

Yea, I agree with this.
Whenever I come back here and check out threads for activity it's just the new ones with single words or short sentences.

Implemented. If you notice any bugs, report them. Also feel free to make an account to test this, but post in the introductory topic that it's a secondary account, so that we may delete it after the system is adequately tested.
If anyone has trouble posting, you can always PM me, e-mail me, Skype me, Steam me, etc.
