relocking the shitter

I love the place, and it's a great place to vent, but we have a few problems;

Nobody here really hates each other enough to verbally blow a load on them. And if they do, then the person their hating on either

a. doesn't hate them back
b. spams as if it's just a regular JY topic
c. doesn't respond at all (then other uses start drifting off topic and treat it as if it's another JY topic)

And on top of it, no matter how much it's stressed or posted, nobody can manage to pick up on the rules of the shitter.

So instead of just having it be extra work for admins and mods to move, delete, sticky etc. for useless purposes when nobody uses it the way it's supposed to be used, I personally think it'd be best to just either re-lock it, or get rid of it all together.

but who does? And when they do, it only lasts maybe 3 posts, and when the victim finally replies, they've got nothing more to say than "lol".

Don't get me wrong, if you want to go through all the extra effort and keep moving/deleting topics left and right, and pushing a rule that nobody will follow, then be my guest.

In the LG Rules, if you read them which I doubt anyone has it says no to flaming meaning you sign up you accept the rules. The Shitter was made to BEND that rule so you could flame people but only in that section.

Yes for me. The Shitter isn't serving its purpose very well, and all it seems to start is a never-ending cycle of off-shitter hate.

Believe it or not, the Shitter does have a purpose. Fact is, people don't flame like they used to anymore, and that is some sad shit.

Until Alex sees it fit that it be closed, its open, and since everyone was bitching about having it open at one point, it would be like the time that rep was added again to LG, everyone bitched that it was down, and then bitched that it was back up. sounds kinda ungrateful if you ask me. Just saying.
