ipod broke.

im distraught this morning the cat came into my room while i was asleep which it knows not to come in even while im awake. and it jumped up onto my bedside draws and pushedmy ipod off now the menu button is broken and to get to the menu i have to turn it off and back on. now my family are kicking the cat out whenever i go in the room because i swear im going to crush its skull.

so discuss: has a pet or animal ever broke anything valuable of yours?
how did you react?
did you get a new one or get it fixed?

unfortunatley the warranty only covers getting a new one. not repairs
im gonna kill that cat.

wait....but if it's still under the warranty, i'm pretty sure apple will just replace the ipod

thats not the point though, the point is the amount of money that has been spent on the ipod.
and it has sentimental values too.

fine...sentimental value cannot be replaced

how ever, if it's under the warranty, apple will replace it for FREE (or fix it)

dw, ive had somethan like this happen, i was staying at my brothers house 2 years ago while my parents were out of state. i had taken along my (old psp) dog decides its a new chew toy or some shyt. while i was playing halo online, the dam dogs decides to have an adventure through my basketball bad (the 1 i take to training). nxt morning i wake up with a wet soggy psp with chew marks. great spot to put a psp (outside dog water bowl.)

soon as i saw the dog that morning after i found my psp stuffed, i was pissed right off. buh i won in the end buy maken that dog get trained. buh my brother replaced it 3 days after which was good.

I broke my home button break before, too. (I'm assuming you have an ipod touch). I had to take a really small screwdriver and pop the button out, and clear a bunch of the crap out of there so the button could press the little copper contact.

And no, I've never had a pet break anything of mine.

Well my pet broke my old phone, (Basically it was on my drawers and I was asleep, It knocked it off and weewee'd on it The sound on it was Fcuked and the button pad fell off and the screen cracked, I didn't do anything to the cat I just said shit happens
