Fatass on the Interwebz
I WILL ADMIT I FIND THIS VIDEO HILARIOUS

but..

So I'm browsing youtube and I watched a funny movie review for a movie I really didn't like; Avatar.

So I'm scrolling down to read the comments and I noticed in the "related videos" section there are all these people doing Makeup how-to videos to make themselves look like the fuckin' cat people on Pandora.

So there was this one I clicked on, and it was this woman who's a good 300 lbs overweight (not even kidding), and for literally 8 pages, all of her comments were people calling her a fatass, telling her she should pop herself, telling her she's an ugly fuck who needs to die, etc.

I broke the chain of hate by saying: "Hmm...Nice tutorial. Great job. ~Raivu"

Am I the only one who thinks its fucking stupid for people to put other people down just because of how they look? I mean this person just wanted to do a makeup tutorial.

I think this kind of thing is sick. And all it really does is feed my hate for people. Anyone feel the same?

Hmmm. Good point. But I'm not tlaking about "just the internet" I'm talking about it all in general. Even outside of the internet.

The world is in a downward spiral. Ideals and values are held but by the few, practiced by fewer, guarded by still fewer.
The internet is a lawless land governed by two things knowledge and sarcasm. Those who do, lead and those who don't sit by and watch. It seems to reflect the world more today than it used to which is sad. Things are only going to get worse because of the way we've allowed society to develop. An with technology at our disposal we can simply ignore it all and stay in rooms and stare at a screen and do nothing.

no, I'm not. It just bugs me that people generally judge before they experience.

(I'm 19 and I weigh 155)
