As Haiti is still reeling from the earthquake, thousands of residents are in desperate need of help. This is the most critical time for relief efforts. I'm planning on donating to American Red Cross. What Are you doing?
Probably not $$ because I'm a conspiracy theorist that has to know where exactly my money is going. I'll most likely go down there and work if anything.
You would actually go to the other side of the world just because you need to know where your money is going O_o
I'm in the southern area of the US so it's not really going "to the other side of the world" probably go with a missions group once they start allowing that kind of thing (if they are now, i'm not going. i couldn't stomach all the bodies)
I will give nothing. It's government was feeble before tis, after this it will be run by drug lords or the UN/US will take over. Regardless US will pay the bill and take heat in the end so I will give nothing.
I didnt bother donating. Couldnt find a non scam donation process.
Lol my favorite though was a priest saying they made a deal with the devil and this is there price to pay
my brother in law, fiancee and me were actually talking about this earth quake today; and the idea thing to duld be to send the supplies in large plywood boxes because they have nothing to burry their dead in, they have been sending them all out to sea in pass paupers graves.
Some people say the US is taking this moment to take control of Haiti.
whoever thinks that is fucking retarded. in the same thought we would have taken over that indian country when the tsunami hit.
a few of us are getting sent there for a week trk on rebuilding and stuff. we were just warned not to piss them off and bring a few pairs of utilities so everything is good trk hard. so i might be going to Haiti trk on rebuilding, burying the dead, whatever.
ill still be on if i do, i am the internet,tv,phone, and communications guy.
I'm donating nothing. They're saying to donate as if we owe them something, from the people on TV screaming into the camera.
I would donate but then again, where would my money exactly go? The world is shady.
I've donated $10 myself, convinced a friend to donate $50 and spread the word to more than 500 people, and I'm hoping at least 10 of them donated. At my school I stood during brunch and lunch asking for donations, and gave boxes for donating to each classroom teacher who accepted it.
I never really feel the intensity of these things. However my cousin was in Haiti when the earthquake hit, he's home now though.
I guess I'll donate $2.00
I really didn't know it was that bad until recently. 110,000+ people at the moment have died am I correct in saying? I just thought it was a minor one, and wasn't too fussed about it until I heard the numbers. I'll definitely donate where applicable though.
No; if there was a earthquake here, would the people of Haiti donate? I think not...
what an ass. haiti has nothing to donate. its one of the poorest
countries in the world.
you probably, spend money on gaia but can't donate
5 dollars for people who don't have anything to drink.
No, because all they are going to do is buy some persian rugs and industrial crystal balls for their vodoo bullshit.
@ If I didn't hear that they fought over food, I'd feel more obliged to donate, but right now, I'm one of those people who feel sorry for them, but at the same time have that "They had it coming" mindset.
all i can say is they're people too, and we'd expect help in that situation. i might be shipping out to go down there next month. i hope not. my brother is down there right now. national guard is awesome but i'd rather be in iraq than haiti to be honest.
