Funny how only 30% of all the money you wasted is actually GOING to the cause. Did you know they've made over 13 million dollars and not even HALF of that went to Africa? Also did you know the Founders get paid $80,000 per year (and this is a shitload for a "charity"). People should really research an organization before watching some 30 minute clip and throw their money into a bottomless pit

Fabulous read. it's long, but since you took 30 minutes to watch a scam, I figured you'd read this.

Kony2012 will get the help of the government, that's all that I care about, not where the money is going. Money, is just that, only money.

Its not a scam, they are getting the attention of the government. If they are making money off of it, I don't mind. I would encourage they make money because as you can imagine, it couldn't have been easy to get this started.

If its a scam, then don't pay your taxs. The government 'scams' your money in the same way, except they force you to. Then they buy fucking beautiful shit for themselves and consider the us poor. 'Oh but its only $50m out of the few billion the us takes in.', -___-

Frankly, I didnt care 8 years ago, so why should I care because I watched a video? Sure I knew it was going on, same thing goes on in china and mexico. This will die down soon. No im not heartless because I dont feel like being a hipster. I know its for a good cause and ill let that be that.

This is exactly how I feel. While this situation may be horrible, people aren't helping at all. Only ~40% of the money makes it past the employees and video production. And the money that isn't taken goes to a corrupt government with no guarantee that it will actually help anybody.

The money that gets poured into invisible children could be given to a charity that actually gives the money to those who need it and actually get stuff done. I'd much rather give my money to organisations such as World Vision than IC. They make sure that a community is able to support itself in the long run rather than just throwing rice and water at them.

The government is already involved you ignorant asshole. They sent some troops in, and the reason they didn't before (when Kony WAS actually a problem was because we JUST sent in troops for war (something that actually concerned us). And you're a fucking idiot AGAIN for thinking that any charity that only lets 31% of their profits go to their cause is a good charity.

Taxes and Charities are two separate things, stop trying to compare the two. We have the choice to donate, and if I want to donate money, I'd expect more than 31% of my mom went to the cause.

In fact, We don't even know if Joseph Kony is still alive. There is no proof... He could be in hiding... or dead.
Also, it's all a scam.
You should seriously look into this bull before you give them money.

Did you just gravedug a 20 day old thread to say "I second this. . ."?
Give me a reason not to take a plane to wherever the fuck you live and punch you in the face until you faint...
