Page Ranking
Now I'm sure if you are part of the "Google Kids" you have at least a simple knowledge of what Page Ranking is I will however explain in a simple method the idea.
Page Ranking is the algorithm used to create the immense possibility that your site will be visited.
Now I am sure that is the bottom line simplest explanation and trust me it is an extremely difficult algorithm (They have entire year courses on the basic concepts,) but the idea is simple if you have a link on Page A that goes to Page B and 2 Links that go to Page C on Page B the chances of getting to Page C from Page A are rather secure.
Now Google and other search engines that use the Page Rank algorithm (Google owns rights but there are copies,) have attempted to forge the attempts of spammers to increase their site's popularity by adding numerous "Dampeners" but we all know that they come to little and no avail.
Since this is in the GD I would like to put that the point of this thread is mainly towards the idea of spoofing the Page Ranking by over indexed linking.
The method is an easy and effective method of spoofing the hell out of your Page Rank, and fit's perfectly with the guidelines of Google.
Now let's see how the Page Rank is generated, Google crawls millions of sites each site has a set of links that connect them to other sites in which it calculates the original sites popularity based on teh amount off outbound and inbound linkings and throigh the Page Rank system.
My simple method is this;
Site-A out-links to Site-B
Site-B out-links to Site-A
This is a +0.01 into the Page Rank system for Site-A (Excluding dampeners,) due to the A-C settings used in the algorithm, also this increases the mere possibility to get hit's based on a widened spread of links, continuing;
Site-B out-links to Site-C
Site-C out-links to Site-B
Site-C out-links to Site-A
This will add a HUGE growth to the Page Rank for Site-A and possibility to gain hit's. Now you ask why? Well the basic concept of Page Ranking is to gather how many linked site's can properly get back to the original site and then how well that site is possible to get back to from other sites. With this setting you have a massive growth of sourcing.
So how could this work?
Say you make a bulletin on Myspace.com that bulletin leads you to a link to a topic on LogicalGamers.com and on that topic it has a link to the bulletin you posted on Myspace.com.
Confusing? Well the idea is simple the possibility of getting From Site-A to Site-B to Site-C and then back to Site-A is the simple Page Rank.
Hope this has made some since to you all
