Gay marrige
I'm almost certain there is a thread around here but I can't seem to find it. Owell the debate section needs some sort of life.
~Souleater~ wrote:I dont really care. If its gonna happen, its gonna happen. I think gay people have every right to be like every other married american. miserable.
~Souleater~ wrote:Think about it, most married couples argue, and due to that they are miserable, if even for a moment, i think every gay person in the world has the right to feel that misery, just like the straight people that feel that misery.
Elirocks wrote:Doesn't seem to matter that much to me.
I thought being gay was mainly about the sex but w/e.
Defy wrote:Well of course there is going to be arguments. But does this mean they are miserable the majority of their lifes? Of course not. It's foolish to think the majority of people will stay in a relationship when they are miserable; the pros outweigh the cons.
~Souleater~ wrote:You cant say that people dont stay together when they are miserable, most of the relationships in the world has at least one person miserable.
God Made Adam & Eve not Adam & Steve
The way people see it when they see a man and a woman it's wonderful

Besides I think it destroys every American aspect on marriage.
The way people see it when they see a man and a woman it's wonderful
but when you see a man and another guy well most people are just disgusted. (Well the majority)
Btw on the prop 8 on california the majority of the voters voted against prop 8 how the hell does one person get the right to overturn the damn decision we voted so therefore NO!
Thomas wrote:I am fine with religion, as long as you don't extend it to hate/harm other people. Second, the problem with people being disgusted is because they don't fucking understand that gay people don't fucking choose it. Because of people like you countless gay teens are constantly hating themselves and being miserable and not even feeling safe in their own household. The love between a gay couple is just as strong if not stronger than half of straight couples. Straight couples often take advantage of something so simple as pure love, and that is what soul was talking about them being miserable.
Master wrote:Well I'm just playing Devil's advocate here and I'll agree with you on that part. Many of them are afraid and miserable but life's a bitch.
I'm not religious at all either but it influences a lot on people's views.
But I still don't think it's right and you can't really do anything to change my mind about it either.
I know what you two are trying to say but I'm not a gay hating bastard either so don't get all offended because I don't agree with your opinions.

The gay lifestyle is not something to be encouraged, as a lot of research shows it leads to a much lower life expectancy, psychological disorders, and other problems. Studies show that homosexuals, for a variety of reasons, have life expectancies of approximately 20 years less than the general population. Just like a lifestyle of smoking, drinking, etc., unhealthy lifestyles should be discouraged.
