Don't just come in and say
" OH XBOX SUX PS3 FTW!1!"
Give a reason for preferring one over the other. (and not a stupid one either)
I prefer the 360 because of the good Xbox 360 only games it has. That's mainly the only reason, not to mention I'm completely used to the 360.
Sure the PS3 has killer graphics but really its just too fat and over rated. I'm a 360 fan, its ranked higher then the Ps3. the mods are great and Final Fantasy and Metal Gear are developing games for the 360, Sonys big titles.

Which reminds me has anyone modded the Ps3 yet?
I have my 360 modded so i can just download my games, burn them to a cd and play..
ok.. from what i have read, and herd either in a magazine, or n the internet.
there both the same in a few way's.
-Both play HD.
-Both Have there Own Hard drive's (Despire Xbox's being slightly higher.
-Both Same Graphic's despite, random rumor's of PS3 being better or XBOX 360 Being Better.
-Ps3 has high-definition Blu-ray can play movie discs, CDs, DVDs but so can Xbox 360.
-Ps3 must use internal fans to cool itself.
-Ps3 has Four USB ports on the front, compared with two on the front of the Xbox 360 (despire a 3rd on the back.
-ps3 also has A flap at the front lifts to reveal memory card slots that handle Compact Flash, Memory Stick and SD cards.
- While the Xbox 360 is limited to USB flash drives.

I Own both so, to me there no comparison.

I'm a die hard Sony fan. I think the PS3 has more potential for the future. I think its games will pushes the envelope in the next few years. The next game with "Modern Warfare" and "Assassin's Creed" and "Bioshock" status and advancements. Between the graphics engine and storage space available on a blueray disk it just stands to reason. I will admit personal I don't own a PS3, I have a 360. This is because the 360 is at its peak now and I recently moved from a place where I had lots of friends with 360s and its a great way to stay in touch.

because the 360 has achievements that i always go for all of it and thats it just the achievements
the Ps3 i only like the uber gfx and the great sandbox games

That's not true. Technically they are both machines you could figure out which is better by testing for benchmarks and run stress test like you do with a computer.

The Xbox HAS NO blu-ray and all that other stuff because its strictly a gaming console. Not a mini-console computer like the ps3 is.
YES the ps3 is better in graphics.
But the 360 Can run a game with more framerates.
The only true reason that I prefer the 360 to the PS3 is the vast selection of games, and because I'm an XBOX Diehard. But I'll admit, that that Bluray player looks very tempting. :p
I like the xbox because the live is pay to play and its not a shit lag feast most of the time. I like the ps3 because it has blue ray, and little big planet.
I would have to say that XBOX has come out with games that in my opinion are way more fun. To me graphics aren't everything, I still play classic games all the way from snes to ps1 even ps2 and old xbox originals mainly because they are really fun. As for Blue ray I honestly don't need it.
Xbox 360 for me. Most of the multiplatform games are developed with the 360 in mind and then ported over to PS3, thus you are getting a clone of something with minor tweaks that really plays better on the 360.

I never realized that, but when you play a game that first came out on 360, then play it on ps3, it's pretty much identical, in a lot of aspects, just not online of course. ahah.
Ok PS3 has better graphics. Plus its a better value. Xbox 360 has the Red Ring of Death wayy to often
I NEVER gotten to red ring nor did anybody else i know. Which is alot.
I have a ps3 and its just so uninteresting.
Plus the reason it has better value is because it has more features.
And before you say that its better for that reason, the only reason it has more features is because like i've said before is because its like a mini gaming computer while the 360 is an actual gaming console.
This is the ultimate tie-breaker, IMO.

How the FUCK does the Wii offer something that Xbox doesn't? Why the Hell are we paying for Internet connectivity (on top of the ISP charges; this isn't even for Internet, this is to use the Internet to do something) in 2009? Worst idea ever, Xbox, and it's the sole reason I prefer PS3 over 360.
The xbox is a better platform overall. The online gaming is so much better in my oppinion. Even if you do have too pay for live, I think its worth it. And all the talk over getting RROD. Even if you do get it, Microsoft just replaces it, even without a warranty now. As well as Microsoft is a better company than Sony.
Neither I dislike both, I have both of them so I am aloud to say that I don't like either. They miss the simple and elegant qualities that the 2nd Generation had, PS2 was unique, XBOX was unique and the Gamecube was a work of genious.
Now the companies are engaged in a Console war, where they have forgotten the point of consoles which is "Fun". The only game company which seems to be still intent on creating quality products is, Nintendo.
