I'm installing Windows 7!
I can't wait till it finishes to see the final product!

What OS do you guys have?

Thinking of trying Vista if there's anyway to keep my data and if there's a way to revert in case I don't like it...

I use a lot, multi booting FTW!

Lately I have been using Windows as my main O.S and Linux Distros for my packet sniffing adventures.

Anyone hear about Google? They're coming out with their own OS...

When that comes out, I'm gonna get it for sure. Everything google makes turns out amazing.

No it is gonna turn out as crap (for what i use a computer for at least). You can not install any actual applications only "Web apps". And you can only run it on very limited hardware. And it uses optimization for Intel (the project also barely supports AMD) so for those who are using VIA preprocessors in their netbooks are left in the dark.

I have Vista, don't see the problem with it though xD

And no Windows 7 isn't worser, it's like an upgrade of a tricycle to a bicycle. Nothing big. :p

meh that's why I stuck with XP when Vista came out. I was the only one with a bad feeling about vista before it came out...

I have Windows 7. I got it about a week ago, and upgraded from my Vista. I have to say, this is truly my favorite operating system.
It's so fast!

my hard drive has windows 7 and snow leapord. but i ussually just use windows 7

Windows seven is by far better than any commercial OS. My room-mate has been using it for a few months, and it's amazing. However, for my current projects, there are no drivers compatible with Windows 7 to be able to connect to external Hardware I need to have access to, so I can't install it yet.

Right now I just run XP and Fedora 11 (upgrading to 12 soon!), and to be honest, I rather have Fedora than Windows 7. :P

I've been full on using Windows 7 ever since the beta build, I've quite impressed. Microsoft actually listened to the beta testers for once and everything I complained about got fixed in the Release candidate and to top that the Retail version runs even smoother.

I actually prefer this os to any other, not sure about Mac OSX Snow Leopard but that's because I like the fancy glossy graphics.

I have Windows 7.
I used to use BlackBox before this though.

@Minora: Dont bother upgrading to Vista. Well no, you can, but only do it if you want to upgrade to Windows 7. (It's hard to do without Windows Vista. I have a compaq with XP on it (my favorite besides windows 7) and it was telling me I had to upgrade from Vista.
Vista is just pretty much a huge security dump. EVERYTHING that could ever go wrong with a pc does when you're using Vista. ^^; I highly suggest you don't do it.

And the chrome OS (google's new os) is going to be on the internet browser. :) I've seen a tiny bit of it. It's pretty neat. None of it is functional yet though.

@Kinoshu: Take Windows XP, and give it a new sexy look with movable icons in the tray, and everything is smart-fit. :) They've taken a couple aspects of mac (sticky notes and desktop background changing) but that's really the only slight sign of downside. It runs smoothly, it looks fantastic, and you should really get it.

Srsly, i prefer Windows XP than vista.
I'm currently using vista atm, very slow...
Perfect for office use, Not for gaming, trust me...

VirualBox, you download vitualbox and then put your os in it. google it.
