White Supremacists a Hoax
Yes, I'm posting this in the GD because I think it's a good discussion piece. If you've been in the JY and UG Bronze lately, you might have read stories on LG hacking the White Supremacist hategroup's myspace and e-mail.

Well, take a look at this.
Man now says supremacist party a hoax - Bangor Daily News

He's either
A. Given up and running away
B. Actually telling the truth
C. So scared by everything that's been happening and all the publicity, that he wants an excuse to gtfo.

If he's not lying, do you think he did the right thing by threatening and lying to an entire state just to prove a point? Seems like you're beating a small child because "it's for their own good".
Granted, it did work. We have a rally now, but we were just as fine off before he came.

What are your opinions?

Since his image got damaged throughout the internets and an entire American state, I think he just beat a retreat from his original standing to save whatever face he had left after the incident.

My heartiest congratulations, this is one of the better examples of ethical hacking that I've seen.

Sweet, XD We did it. He's ovbiously freaked and trying to do whatever he can to pack up and get out. What point really was he trying to prove by doing the things that he did? Truth be told there was no point. People like him are cowards when they're outnumbered and he is making excuses to get out of it. As quoted in the online article:

"In a telephone interview, he later said that there never was a white supremacist party and that there never were any members, although he noted that some people had responded in support of the group. He denied that he had tried to start the hate group and then got nervous because of the publicity it had generated. "

That statement alone proves that hes trying to get out of what he was doing.

BTW Rai, send me a link to your Rally's facebook page I wanna see, ^^

Escapist fail.

This guy might actually make a great politician out here, with evasive tactics this good. They almost never take responsibility for their actions. Though, if I'm not mistaken, under the current racism laws, he can expect atleast 10 years if charged. He might not get it, but nevertheless, I doubt he'll be too happy about this for a long haul to come.
#5
After all the crap he did he should go to jail. but I dont think 10 years is enough for someone like him. I'll tell you though, people like him dont last long in jail I assume.
#6
indeed. The first person of African American descent who recognizes him for who he is will break his neck like a dry twig in jail at the first opportunity. Not that he doesn't deserve it, it's actually an appropriate conclusion to the affair as such IMO.

Agreed. However violence never really solves anything.

True. Look what happened in World War II, for a start, and all in the name of race. Technically, it wasn't so much as using Jews and their ilk as scapegoats as it was actual racism.

Though, we should never ask too much of the law in any case; it can only repay blood for blood at most, even though the death process is almost always painless and instantaneous.
#9
Thats very true.
#10
Welp. Got what you wanted Rai.
#11
Well i guess now everyone is happy.
The city is back to normal.
LG got some adverstising
and we had fun hacking/following.

Crash, All I see is the login page. ^^'

You kinda need an account to access any Facebook page. While we're about it, I have a short story that needs reviewing.

I can't think of any other way that some loser racist would try to get out of it then by denying i all and trying to back out. The thing that makes this funnier is that LG got advertised to an entire state, and that some dousch is getting what he deserves, a wrecked life (for the most part).

Welcome to Facebook | Facebook

Try that?

Anyways, was his password really whitepower?

If so, that could bust this whole thing open. And start a strong argument against him.
#18
Yes it was. And by racism laws, if someone takes this to court, he's pretty much screwed.
#19
There is no court case for this kind of thing. If it were even brought up in front of a judge it would be thrown out. There are no laws against being racist, hence the existance of the KKK and Arian Nation and other hate groups.

The most that can happen is that he has to leave the state just to try and save face, which even then, won't do much if this goes on a larger scale.
#20
And since nothing was even really hacked, nobody can be pressed. Everybody has the right to guess someone's password.

Point taken.

I must have read a little too literally in this situation.

Fear is a powerful weapon and often those who employ it do so out of fear. Raivu, you and those who hacked the organization's accounts attached to your move the whole of logical gamers and the community you are in. In doing so you presented him with two large enemies: a faceless group of people who had control over a realm he had none(the internet and computers) combined with misconceptions about hacking he most likely thought you had even more power than you do; then you have the community which are physical beings he has to face, while obviously he thought he could sway them when it became evident they supported the faceless hackers and seeing your action cause them to become more vocal and active to show their opposition he got scared. To add to the situation you have the media involved and biased to your cause. All this means he's got not support, even from himself and in a situation like that you either have the balls to stand by what you believe or you cut and run. Like most people he chose to run.

I applaud you in your endeavors and success.
But a caution while technically you didn't hack them, you did access their email. The accessing of another person's mail is illegal, regardless of it being outside in the mail box or online.

C0FFIN, you're the best. :) Thanks. I really didn't look at it that way, and you're absolutely right.
If he were to take this to court, could you tell me what would happen?
