manual or automatic?

which do you prefer. i honestly prefer stick shift because it's what i started on like 6 years ago and its just more fun than automatic. not that i don't like automatics, but i would miss shifting gears too much. whenever i have to drive my girl friend's car (automatic) i'll catch myself trying to shift gears every now and then

My dad taught me to use a stick shift first. So i guess stick shifts lol

Manual is fun, if I'm driving a car then I want it be manual. But if I'm going to drive a truck or van I want it to be automatic.

Manuals seem to keep it more lively.

I've driven both. I think Automatic is easier to drive, and I have trouble starting in a manual right now. But I've heard Manual is a lot more fun.

yea a manual is much more fun when you get the hang of it. most people just try to hard and they think its impossible.

I never learned manual, so automatic. :]

HMMWVs are automatic, and that is all I drive now. But before that, I drove mostly auto. Hate driving stick shift. I end up down shifting a lot when I'm just trying to shift into 2nd, and shift when pulling away from a red light.

Manual you can feel the car if you have a manual transmission

Manual is annoying when you go through a ton of red lights, so I'd prefer automatic.

automatic is easier...But I need to learn stick shift so I can drive this Nissan I was going to buy

manual it has better acceleration but the automatic is good in like a traffic jam but i still say manual :]
