Good Proxy
So all proxy sites are blocked at my school.
Anyone got one that wouldn't be blocked, like one that doesn't look like a proxy?
I know Shane had something like it a LONG time ago, back when I was in 8th grade, that I used.

use this website and translate the site from German to English (So that the grammar remains intact) that will get you in 90% of websites that are blocked.

translate.google.com

Whoa good call!

Sweet Thomas.

So, You get a German proxy and translate it to english?

No, it is just Google translator. By translating the site the network filter thinks it is a Google site. And by translating it from German you can keep the grammar intact so it doesn't come out sounding like a 4 Year old wrote it.

Such a good idea!

yay fuck school firewalls!
#7
That's awesome going to try it tomorrow !
#8
I'm going to try it on monday because I don't have school friday!

:D
#9
Depends what are you trying to use the proxy for? games or a specific website that is blocked?
#10
I'm writing a proxy tutorial for how to use an *actual* proxy, instead of browser-based ones. Will post it when I'm done.

Google Translate will work fine, as long as the school doesn't block URL matches instead of specific URLs.

sefreak.com

login is student:student or something like that.
#12
Our school blocked translate.google.com D:
#13
Lol I was just about to post something similar to this..

<Insert Name of school here> has chosen to restrict the viewing of this website: (http://sefreak.com/),

because of its content rating:
(local deny).

i use textmaster.info works at my college. what system is it running on?

You could also use SSH tunneling to get around it. But if you are not comfortable with CMD/Terminals then don't try it.

Hak5 did a episode on how to do it, Google "Hak5 ssh tunneling" and it should take you to the video.

Open CMD and type "Ping Google.com" and if it returns a Ip then you can do a SSH tunnel.

textmaster.info is block

using: iPrism

I think CMD is block also..
but who cares i have to go to bball practice now..

I use kproxy.com at my school. It works perfectly for me. The google.translate idea sounds sick, I need to try that out.
#18
Omg. translate.google.com is the best. Thanks Thomas!
#19
im pretty sure that if you make it to underground silver you could most likely find something there
#20
If cmd is blocked, make a text file with Ping Google.com in it and then save it, then change the .txt to .bat
#21
It works but my school fricken blocks cookies on the computers. Anyone know of a way to get past the cookies on private school computers?

EDIT- Just noticed this is an old thread. My bad guys haha.
#23
Those are both blocked at school. The only thing that has worked so far is the google.translator.
#24
I have not seen 1 thing that doesn't block ssl proxys like this one.

https://clearlydrunk.com/

Our school always changes software nomatter that remains unblocked.

I use my own personnel proxy for web based.

For forums and stuff like 4chan I always use a socks proxy that has ping<100ms. I shall not reveal my proxy list.
#25
polysolve.com i believe always works at my school :)
#26
gh.o.st?

Something like that.

its a virtual computer, it works quite well though :D
#27
What you wanna do is type 'https://' instead of http://

Put in the (s) as it will bypass most website. Now use that before all the proxy's that you get and that should easily pass it =) I have to do that at my school most the time.

Hope I helped.

Tunneling is very slow though D:
But effective.

I use PuTTY.
