Officials: Anti-Taliban mission in Kandahar set for June

U.S. and coalition forces in Afghanistan have their sights set on a June offensive designed to gain control of the southern city of Kandahar from the Taliban, according to U.S. military officials.

Kandahar isnt even a big deal any more, its not the main strong hold of the Taliban. Are people fucking stupid. The Taliban isnt going to hide in countries that we are already in, they are in the outlying areas.

They need to carpet bomb the mountains, not attack a city that has already been secured 2x.

Its all about the outlying reaches of Afghanistan that havent been probed and attacked yet. All this is going to do is get troops killed.
