Recount your Runescape memories...
Just post whatever fun/random/weird/etc. memories you have from Runescape.
I remember going from level 47 or so to level 60 in a week by killing the monsters in Draynor Dungeon. Zombies and skeletons I believe. My favorite place to level in that range. It was fun, no one there to steal monsters, and I got to chat with my friends via friends list. I wanted nothing more. Suggest it for anyone else too.
My most cherished memory on runescape was when i was in 5th grade, the summer going into 6th, i pulled my first 24 hour on the computer extravaganza with my best friend JP and my Cousin. We were scamming people, making girl accounts to get free stuff (back before the wildy got cut and the trading got fucked)
We racked up about 200M over that summer each. It was amazing.
Memories:
-Some friends in the TSL would get together and go to new players and have them do dumb stuff for gold
-WC and Fletching for like 2 hours D;
-Revenant hunting in the Official event Jagex held
-PK 4 ppl in a row then getting out before getting killed
I remember pking. I never really did much of it and I miss it. I wish I had done more. It's not the same. I wish they'd go back.
PKing, old-styled, was the thing to do on my block, we would all meet up at one house and use a computer and laptop for team pking. Or we would have groups spread out at each other's houses, all of us pking. I took it further by joining a PK clan, that was 30+, we went to the lessers (F2P) and we would have wars with 40's and 50's, we even tanked a small group of 60's and 70's.
All those memories came to an end once they took out that way of Pking.
Really was saddening, I trained so hard to pk, now it's not really worth it.
I remember me and two friends would get together at one of our houses and bring our laptops to play Runescape together. We would do quests together and go pk noobs all night until we fell asleep at our computers. I also remember playing Runescape with my friends talking over the phone for hours. Good times, they ruined the game now...
yeah... when i make a new account, ill try to find some of you guys..
but on topic. I used to do the whole, bring a "Clan" into the woods, usually the full rune noobs.
Then me and my friends would own them when we were in wildy and they couldn't get away. Two mages... freeze em there, rangers would attack first, then we would finish em off.
I remember luring at the zammy monks. So fun.

Was so much fun. Then they killed that too. Took the door away and added wildy ditch.

Does anyone actually know why Fagex took away the wildy???
It was used for real world item trading a lot...and luring....and other reasons like that.
Probably making like 5 people give me coal for incredibly low prices then reselling iron bars cause I could use my epic ring of smithing. Or whatever it was. Then I would smith the bars into various iron items, and hand them out to noobies. Then I realized that even by being nice, Jagex wasn't going to give me modship. So I gave up, sold my account in exchange for a MapleStory one, and yeah.
The only was to become a player mod was like complete luck. Or get an actual player mod to recommend you.
Me and my friends would go in my basement with out laptops and play for hours and hours, especially over the summer. That was back in the old days. I only go on RS to play around, nothing serious.

I remember thinking going to Remmington was fun, just cuz I had never been there before and there was never anyone there. And then I discovered that the town is almost useless...
I remember saving up for a Santa hat when they were 200-300k. And then selling it like a couple of days later. Boy was I stupid >_>
I still remember being like a level 5 noobs and someone gave me a full set of bronze and I actually thought they were the nicest person in the world xD
I used to play runescape, but left because the majority of the people were just mean. that and I could never get my mining lvl up high enough because people would just come to whatever spot I was in and mine it (and get it) faster than I could
I remember this one time where all I did for a few hours was mine the two iron rocks in the Fally mines and give the iron to these two kids that jsut kept running back to get it from me. Was very quick leveling.
Favorite memory.... Tie Between Wine of Zammorak lures and Boxing in my house
I actually have never boxed in someones house. Sadly.

best memory = back in 06 when my best friend found a way to pk people in towns, and was going through raping everyone. all the mods were telling people PUT YOUR STUFF IN THE BANK YOUR GONNA GET KILLED! it was epic. of course he was banned within minutes, but still. it was awesome

Going to Kbd with my friends......and trying to survive at mithril drags(i Died)....Getting my wcing up to 72 and selling all my yew logs and buying addy gold and making my bro jealous.....lol that was fun.....ive only been playing since they changed it
I remember when I used to think god rune sets and gold rune sets were cool.
uld combat on the ground floor near the wall, or we would camp the flag, I would freeze, they would k0.
got some good shit, he had about 15k gp on him which was amazing to me back then.
