We earn 1% of our referral's LGG earnings
This would motivate more users to refer other members, and it would reward us more.

could be good. but i'm sure it would backfire (i.e. people increase prices on things they sell) so it would be as if nothing had happened.

It could be good, but there would always be that one member that refers like 200 people and gets LGG way too easily.

Still, I doubt that people would refer 200 people...
And if they did, they'd be a well deserving member.
It could also be limited to just posting, so we wouldn't get when they received.

As far as I've seen, LG is pretty good at catching people who abuse the site.
Besides, you would only earn 2 LGG per referral post, so even with 200 referrals, it would not generate much LGG income.

Maybe ramp it up to 5%. 1% is so damn low.

I personally love the idea. It gives people incentive to invite people who are honest LGers, rather than leechers. This would not make a sudden jump in fake referrals, as it would barely increase LG. It would be more efficient to post on your own account, rather than on somebody else's.

Eh, Arti, I respect that you like the idea, but... this would be easily abused, x account invites y account, x account sends y account all it's gold, x account just made 1% more than they had before. Multiply that by say my gold amount, that adds up to a shit load after several transfers...

It would only be from post count's, not LGG that is currently circulated.

It wouldn't take away LGG from them, it would give them gold, as well as the person who reffered them.

1% is nothing to earn from :P Nothing to lose.

Vend: 100 000 worth = 1 000 LGG

You get that within a few posts.

Eh. It's just such a small number. Example, you make 50g per post, and the person who refers you gets... half a gold... that's not gonna add up very fast...

Why not none at all? All of my posts TOTAL have ONLY brought in (JY excluded) little under 50k LG gold... that means, if you refered me, you would have only got 5k, or 2.5k LG off your percentage... You get 10,000 LG gold per person you get to join. That's 20% of MY posts.

Why not just keep stuff the way it is right now...Were doing good so far no need to Suddenly change anything...LG is great with keeping up with people who spam...I mean Rapes still not gone but who cares...The sites doing fine we don't need this 1% crap its to low

10k + 1% is fine.
The fact that you're getting 10k per referral is already fucking amazing as it takes a shit load of posts to do. The 1% just adds on to the amount of LGG you'll make, so don't bitch and say 5% or 10%, etc.

If it's too low (1%), there is no incentive in doing it, thus there's no point of offering 1% in the first place.

Maybe lower the actual refering bonus to 5k, then raise the posting bonus to 10%?

How about a better suggestion. Keep it the way it is, due to well lets think about this... did you even read my post above? You would have ... what, 1% chance of making that 5k in posting to make up for it? Yeah, how about you all quit trying to be greedy and keep it the way it is? Please tell me what's wrong with the current system, please.

Nothing is. He's just trying to find a way for there to be more incentive to want to refer people.

Does the current system give you LGG upon registration? That's exploitable, but IDK if that's the case.

But, the upside to this case is, if I refer someone who gets 50 posts, I get 10k. If you refer someone who gets 500 posts, you get 10k, even though your referal was 10 times as valuable. Not only does it improve incentive, but it improves incentive for members who are actually worth getting (not spammers or people who will quit after however many posts it takes to get the LGG bonus).

Yeah, moment someone signs up, you get 10k LGG.

I like the idea, kind of similar to prizerebel tactic
BUT maybe it should be one or the other. Either,
get lg by getting people to sign up or getting 0 lgg
and once they have some posts you gain from it.

But it's messed up.
If you get 10k when they register, then you get 10k total.
However if you get 1% of their earnings, then you need to wait for them to get 10,000 posts to make 100LGG per post, 10,000x100 = 1 mil LGG, and you would get 1% or 10k. So I suggest either 10k at registration or 10% of their earnings, which would mean they need to get 1000 posts for you to get 10k.

Referring is a bitch... you can rarely get ANY simi rich accounts to join, let alone noobs... :| Referring is harder than trying to convince someone to post... due to that is impossible, "I'll give you 1m to get to 100 posts" yeah, scam + spam...

i think any referrals you the user can get should be rewarded

you get us a member you should be rewarded

its word to mouth advertising and thats the best advertisement out there
