NSFW sub-forum
So we have some where to post items that others may not want to see. Some could see the NSFW on the thread title but not think much of it since the junkyard is full of random shit and jokes. If there is a sub-forum for such posts they could easily be avoidable for users who want to steer clear of such topics.
It could also serve as an area to post more adult themed topics like sex and porn. I personally don't see a reason for the topics myself but at least they would have place you would have to knowingly enter.

Or just have a NSFW tag on the title

We have a forum for that stuff. You just can't get to it.

Yeah, there is one. It's just not public. I want to make it open, but I also don't want to deal with the legality of all the minors on this site having access to it. :/

I might make an 18+ thread tag or something. Maybe a plugin that blocks people under 18 (profile age) from seeing such tagged threads.

But that's a lot of work for something not that many people care about on here.

Can't you have it based on the age from their account info? Or make it have a pop up with a disclaimer and a yes i am 18 button. Then if they lie it's on them and not the site.

Not with a plugin to my knowledge. I think I'd have to edit the files themselves. Even more work.

EDIT: If I ever did make the NSFW forum public, that would be how I'd do it, though. :P

Interesting discovery. At my local library's free WiFi (which I use), most, if not all, sites of questionable content are blocked. One glaring exception is randomnsfw.net.

Gross things are inevitable on the internet, warnings take away the fun

Can't you use something like an Flw to have the pop-up as soon as you click the link to the sub-forum? But instead of Username and password just a button to enter and a button to go back, along with a Disclaimer like this-

WARNING - This area of the LogicalGamers website may contain nudity and/ or sexually themed topics, and is intended for mature members only. Content is not intend for anyone under the age of 18 (or the age of consent in the jurisdiction from which it is being accessed). By clicking the Enter button you a agreeing to these terms and verifying your age. Under aged user beware failure to abide to these terms may result in your account being banned.

Bypassing this disclaimer via bookmarking or access to an interior page through a direct link constitutes as an agreement to the terms outline above.

I can do anything. The issue is just that it would take forever to code.
