Add Username Images to Logical Gamers!

To tell you the truth I don't have a lot of time on my hands so I'm going to try to make this short and sweet.

Username images is a great plugin/mod that I believe should be added to this site. You could earn them via donations or buy them via LGG. A username image is simple, where your username is in your postbit, profile, and anything other template that displays your username an image appears instead. The image is not just some random image of something, it's like a cooler, 3D text version of your username. It doesn't necessarily have to be in 3D but usernames are already in 2D so why not make it in 3D?

The name of this user is "n4no" but he purcahsed as username image, so it displays the image instead!

This plugin for the forums not only has lots of creative potential, but could also boost activity. And defiantly boost the graphics marketplace activity, though we don't have a single section just for graphics yet, it could be in the near future! Anyways I feel like this would be a great addition to the forum. It would be yet another reward to give to active and participating members and would encourage every to be active in the forums as obtaining a username image might end up being a goal for them.

The Artwork forum is for graphics discussion. The Marketplace is open to graphics sales as well.

And I meant a specific market for graphics, but as stated the market itself for graphics right now on this forum isn't really big enough to warrant that, you're right.

I always did like their forum over at Sythe.
I like the idea, but it would get a little annoying. Wouldn't fit the theme

I could make an option to disable it in the profiles so that it only shows up if you have them enabled (which it would be by default).

I like that idea ^^ that way the people who like it can see it if they want without bothering the others

Well it would also be in the postbit template too, no? You could make an object to disable them all over. Also I assume you that they are not AS "tacky" when they are made right if you look at them close up. I'll post a closer up picture of the "Nick" one when I can a bit later. They are usually made with graphics programs with incredible capabilities. I know because I have some of them myself. Unless you of course just don't like the style of that type of art and only prefer anime

A lot of they are that are used can coenside with anime, and 2D pictures even. If you look at "Dave's" he has Pokemon on his, which is a good exmaple. Perhaps I should get a closer up version of his too, just so you can see the quality, and personal creativity that was put into it. In my opinion they are anything but "tacky". Of course if done incorrectly I can defiantly see how they would be.

For those of you who support it, I really appreciate your support! As this is my first suggestion ever on this forum and idea I do truly like myself. I'd defiantly be up for making and letting someone personalize a username image for someone who wants one, seeing as I will not be able to afford one myself... Anyways, thanks a lot to everyone who supports!

Yes. That's what I'm saying. People who have the setting enabled to see username images will see them in the postbit. People who have the setting disabled to see username images will see what everyone sees right now, regardless of whether or not the user has an image set.
