a new section!

Anime discussion forum or sub-forum.
A lot of us here like anime, it could be an active forum.

What say you?

In all seriousness though, I think this could be a really cool idea. I have a feeling that it would have a lot of activity, kind of like the Pokemon forum. A lot of people here like Anime, heck it could be April's forum of the month.

I don't watch anime, but it would be cool to see what other people are watching.
Also, do you mean anime+Manga, or just anime?

Anime and Manga section.
I would be pretty great cause then I could put up reviews for anime. I watch a lot of them.

With the anime section you could have a TCG forum, since most TCG's are from Animes (excluding MTG)

Eh, I don't think a TCG forum would be too active. The only TCG people seem to play is Pokemon, and there's already a forum for that.

I could make it active. I know a couple people who I can invite to LG, the only reason I haven't invited them is because nothing atm on this site is of interest to them.

don't know that an anime or even a TCG forum would be worth it. I don't think it'd be very active. How long can you talk about anime?

There are so many series and so many upcoming series.
Plus I get bored easily so I tend to watch it very often.

I agree with this.

There are literally hundreds of shows, it would be cool to talk about them. Unfortunately I don't get the chance to watch Anime or TV or anything like that very often, but I still enjoy it when I get the chance.

So you always want to talk about anime all the time, keep track of anime news, etc?
If like five people do that then it's worth it, otherwise meh.

It's just a discussion forum!
Make it at a sub-forum at the very least until it popularizes.

I know my anime so I support this.

Only looks like guaranteed activity from 2 or 3 people. Start some anime/manga/etc. topics in Artwork and see how they do. I might make it a subforum of there if people are into it. Otherwise it's just detracting attention from the Artwork forum.

I was actually going to suggest this. Why not give it a shot just for a week and see what happens?
If not you can always remove the section.

Also I don't really believe anime really fits in the "art" section. If you're discussing shows, going off topic away from art in any way, it's just going to make the art forum seem unorganized. I don't think "Who's your waifu" or "Anime character you relate to most", ect is really going to fit there.
Plus we've had tons of anime topics. More than we've ever had when it comes to even pokemon.
Not to mention Anime, also covers VNS, and such which I guess could go in the video game section... But there is a ton we could do with it.
I mean when katawa shoujo happened all of LG was playing it almost. Granted we only had a few active members at the time but still!

I think considering nobody is talking about anime now, one or two topics about anime won't deteriorate from the Artwork discussion. TV and such are intended for the Art section. The idea is that if there do become so many topics such as "what anime character r u lyk" that deteriorate from the artwork discussion, then a subforum will be made to prevent that disorganization. However, if only two or three people are talking about it, it probably won't span more than two or three threads at the most. If this idea doesn't pick off the ground, we might not even see another anime topic for months.

So, that's where it goes, and that's how it'll be determined, methinks.
