this board software (vbulletin) seems like it's been created by 'developers' who live in the dark, it's badly constructed, and just bad in every way. EVEN the user who is still paying for this doesn't even know how to spell correctly!

That would require me to come to the defense of vBulletin. Truth be told, I probably hate it a lot more than he does.

Personally, I want to write something completely custom (we could even do it incrementally to slowly move away from vBulletin), but I don't have the time, and we don't have any volunteers to assist who have the necessary skills. As for favicon, sure 31kb is a large size, but I can't be assed changing it. If someone wants to resize it and export it for the web I'll upload it.
