New rule
No more posts of "Ok, my problem is solved, all posts after this are spam"
Once you post a topic asking a question, you will spark a discussion about that question. Even when you are satisfied with an answer, anyone else who maybe had the same question may want to ask for another opinion, or those with another opinion may want to state it aswell.

That's true. The only person who should be able to decide when something is spam is a mod. "I'm right. You're wrong. Anyone posting after this is spamming." = unacceptable

Although I'm not sure how a rule can accompany this. I think moreso it should be encouraged to not give a damn whether or not someone says that all following posts are spam, lest they are a mod. Then, eventually, people will simply stop saying it.

Well, just in general a rule of no minimods. I have seen people in threads saying "Problem solved, everything below is spam, close the thread" when they werent even the OP >.<
#4
You call yourself a grammar nazi, yet I see so many grammatical errors in some of your posts.
On topic, I think this should be a rule, because some people might give the wrong answer, claiming their idea was right, when in reality it was far off.
#5
Example: How do i get to the second level of )game name(
Answer: you throw the peanut butter on the floor after getting it from the chest.

(that could be the wrong answer)
Is that what you mean?

I think yes Except people would do it like this

Example: How do i get to the second level of )game name(
Answer: you throw the peanut butter on the floor after getting it from the chest. Now, No one post after me or it is spam.

See person maybe wrong and some people might not post the correct way, but anyways

I think people who really care about not spamming up the forums should report posts that are spam not just say "Omg!! you post is spam" <--- is also spam :D

Yeah, I am a hypocritical grammar nazi. I'm mainly bugged by the people with a complete lack of capitalization and punctuation.

I'm quite positive you are referring to me or Noob. He did this on a noob's thread yesterday, and yeah. Bottom line, if idiots keep posting and there is no mod on to stop it, why the hell not have a "minimod" step in and cut the shit out before it gets to a larger problem? :|

Original poster usually wants it to keep going cause they can do the "Oh I was just responding to their post. I wasn't spamming..." shit...
#9
No, it wasnt you or noob... It was a noob. One of the annoying ones.

And honestly, it is pretty easy to tell when it is actually spam. I am just tired of people getting mad at others for presenting a legitimate point of view in the topic. Another post in a topic is better than another topic alltogether.

Well that's true..
But whenever you or noob says that line.
It's probably because its the only answer..

Ont: Good suggestion.
But it would probably flood the forums with safe spams..
Repeating the answers over and over -.-
#11
Well of course repeating the same answer again and again is spam, and can be reported. The only thing we can really do about spammers is give them infractions/get them banned - They arent going to listen to someone who says "Oh look I am better than you and I know more and this topic is closed even though I dont really have the power"

actually to be frank i think we might need a little function that EVERYONE has that would be able to put the whole "problem solved" without having to post

In a thread i made in the drawing section about wanting to draw a circle WITHOUT TOOLS OF ANY KIND (string, ruler, etc.) all i was seeing anymore was people posting WHO CLEARLY DIDNT READ FIRST POST! going like "Use a ruler" or like "get a string and pull arond in a circle" its like what part of no tools dont they understand?

So i made a post stating the best option as well as how i want no one else to post and requesting a thread lock (which i had also told Shane through Visitor Message) and it was still getting posts that were practically made to be a post that didnt involve reading anything other than the title =.= (maybe not even the title)

For the lazy people who dont want to read all that: How about a "Thread status" ? such as "Ongoing Discussion" or "Dead discussion" or like "Problem solved" that the thread maker can make without affecting who can really post in it or not (unless the "posting" permissions for threads was needed to be closed but thats what the admins/mods are for right?)

i agree..if you think u can ask a question and not get multiple answears then dont ask the question at all...you can always lock topic to
