Being able to lock your own Requests.
The Graphics Request section usually builds up a lot of spam, even after the request was finished, people still post there, or post updated works of the work, that could have been simply, PMed to the user.

If you were able to lock your own request, after it was finished, things could get a lot cleaner in that section.

Just a suggestion.

Along with everyone else that posts this exact same post in the suggestions area which btw you really need to learn to search. The answer to this is no, want a reason here are some to list a few:

~ You could lock the thread because someone is flaming you even though they're right.

~ A thread is meant to invoke discussion, if you feel the need to lock your thread you obviously didn't put enough effort in.

~ That is what mods are for, understandably there aren't enough atm but still.

Flaming is never tolerable, even if they are right. Plus I don't see a flame war breaking out in a request.

A request is hardly a discussion, a request is asking for a graphic once they are met it should be closed should it not.

~ That is what mods are for, understandably there aren't enough atm but still.
I like how they are all open then.

And besides its not up to you. Its up to the owners of the website.

I think the difference between this request and others is that he's requesting it in a specific forum, which makes sense. The request sections aren't for discussion, and once the request is fulfilled, the topic is useless.

Pretty much said, but actually..
Even if the thread owners already said that it is closed.
Or they already have what they need, members still post...

That is what we made infractions for, is it not?

If a moron can't read, he should be infracted.

See, I don't get this... Why do you guys want a Mod's power so badly?... It's just locking a damn thread. After you get this ability, naturally, you will want more. So why should they give you this?..

Deary there not just my opinions there the reasons why every other other requests like this got shot down.

Defy, he may not be the owner, but he is your Mod. Don't like his choice, PM Arti. I guarantee you'll get your response in the next two years. But hey, at least you tried to overcome the Mod.

Most shit gets declined just because no Admin is on long enough to do much and that type of shit... Locking threads is useless, I vote the next person to suggest it gets infracted :|

Every other request was for a different section of the forum, this is for the request forum which does make an a lot of sense. baby cakes.

The fact is its not his choice, he gets too throw in his 2 cents just like everyone else.
