Trading

Trades should only be able to be accessed by people with Bronze UG, Higher Undergrounds, or other. Not by regular members.

Why? There are several users that keep scamming people for money and keeps getting banned. Banning isn't helping so it's time to step it up to prevent the scams and loss of money.

This is a perfect idea! And while where at it can we re-structure the trading section? It is kinda messy and difficult to get to the right place. Something like this.

Though I wonder if that happens if it will detour people from joining?
I agree with this though especially Thomas' suggestion.

Good idea and the only scammers in this forum are people with 50 posts and under so this might work alittle.

The only people that are joining are the scammers that keep getting banned for scamming and multi accounts. If they figure out it takes 50 posts just to get into trading to scam they'll probably scam once or twice more but if they keep getting banned then I doubt they'll want to post 50 times more per account, just to scam more.

Also; I support Thomas idea's as well.

I agree but a better idea is not to hide the trading threads but require an amount of posts before selling or buying. They will still able to lurk.
Edit: NVM coz then PM will have to be limited also. Which can be good in a way.

Edit edit: Just FYI not everyone in ug or higher trades which mean it can suck for the seller.

Than people better start posting. I don't trust anyone when selling nor buying accounts or other things unless they have 250 posts or more anyway. This is just a suggestion to protect most of the users that keep getting scammed.

News flash,use a fucking middle man. Dont complain about getting scammed if you dont use a middleman of some sort.

Also, newsflash, not everyone that is here is here to scam us. Some are just here to trade items and gold for money or other games currency. its not all about scamming us.

I cant middle man because I have to coordinate operations and plan things for the next 6 months, oh and I dont have a fucking paypal, as I have told anyone that asks.

My general education is not sub-par, it is par at least.

Maybe you should talk to more people on MSN then. Maybe then you can stop being so scared and have more options.

Always, no matter the situation use a MM, pick an UGS if it comes to that.

is a little high for people just joining, i mean i look here daily, but finding places to post is limited since a lot of boards are dead or dying, unless they are selling/trade ones, in which it is spam to post unless offering. though overall i agree there should be some sort of more strict requirements for trading.

Chad, I did all I am saying is those are high expectations, though i understand the safety aspect but a lot of people don't post much anymore. was simply stating a lot of people may be trustworthy and not have the posts, though i agree most probably aren't

Another possible solution is to recruit more MMs that are indeed active. For each post done in the trading section, it then becomes locked straight after posted. A middleman would then enter the thread, reply to it letting buyers know that they are watching the thread and that the buyer should use a middleman or else, and then the thread can officially open.

It's very simple, we just need people that's up to the task.

Or have sections for a public trading section for all users.
Bronze and over
Silver and over
etc.
That way people can pick who their product gets advertised to.
Don't know if it's been suggested, I'm too tired to read the posts.

Or you can just decline offers from people you don't want to sell to.
