Up the UG Bronze post requirement.

You guys think bringing more people to the site will only bring a small burst of energy. With a low UG Bronze count (50) people only have to spend about a day or two getting those posts.
I suggest upping the post count higher. People will spend more time on the forums, interacting with users.
Not too high, maybe 100 or 150.
Just sayin'.

I still vote the application process.

Applications have been brought up to higher management. We are just waiting on the approval of the Admins. More work for staff, more over-all activity since you would have trk for it for a change.

Also, new members often think "its only 50 posts! I can spamz my way up!!1!!one!1"

I'm all for upping the post requirement, possibly to 200?

If an application process is to be implemented I do think that users would lose interest in the site quickly, simply because most users wouldn't be able to attain UG, because many users are idiots, they would lose intrest, thus bringing the level of traffic down.

Why would they make it that high if there is barely anything there i think the good stuff is in silver.

People will just spam their way up to 100 -.- so i say stay at 50

@Google: Applications didn't bring more activity to the old LG. And the person in charge of it was MIA most of the time. By upping the count, people would have trk more.

@Taz: The things in thre are crap because of the low post count. By bringing the post count up, we could have better programs because alot of people would be weeded out.

@Shield: 100 posts is still hard as crap to spam to, and 50 is easier. 100 spam posts also inclines the Mods to look at these accounts and ban them more often.

Its not that hard to post on the forums. Dont just post to get to the UG areas, post in the JY and have some fun. Its not all about hacks and programs and shit.

@Stapled: there is less in UGS but they are more....powerful, for lack of better terminology.

it goes to show you that you dont understand the true meaning of the forum. the JY is for creating ties and friendship, it doesnt matter if the post count doesnt count. its people with the same mentality as you that make the UG pointless and what makes applications and higher post counts needed for the UG in the first place.

Why would we need to do that if Silver is right there they try to put bronze so you can get a taste of what they have in store for silver.

im reminscing right now about 1.0. It is how thing should be, and spamming nooblets deject from the comradeship of the community.

I do think they should up it and not up it at the same time because,

1st: if we up it, The forum will be full of nub hair trying to get to 50 spamming the forums...

2nd: but if we keep it, people might just stay at bronze cause they already got "SOME HACKS" think about it all a nub hair needs is a few bots and hacks to make a couple mill a day.
