With a little script that would check the links in the [download] [/download] code...

So a direct link checker for any uploading site... Which will check all of the links inside the [download] Tags...[/download]

If this wants a direct download link, and x site requires a survey to be filled out and it only holds for one IP, this idea is kinda... useless, isn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong...

A Download Link Checker... Thats what I am talking about... (For convenience)

We don't need direct uploads for warez...

Since that's what it is, I support it 100%. I hate going to a download link in like the fourth part of a download only to be told it doesn't work.

I'm sick of waiting 2 minutes on rapidshit and then getting the worst speeds ever.
Instead we should get Thomas to upload it onto his FTP and let us download it at awesome speeds.
Or you guys can upload to megaupload/mediafire moar often as they give me speeds of 1MB/s.

The only problem with uploading to an FTP then is that whoever does it has to watch out because that person solely can be brought down for copyright infringement.

Even if you uploaded it to megaupload / mediafire, links can still get removed... And you would have to check them individually...

True... Thats why I upload to a "File Host" and not a ftp...
