Icash shop

I think there should be a shop where you can buy things like a different colour username and stuff like that using the LG gold.

That would fuck up the different usergroup colors.

Name changes are iffy, be lucky you can use those...

i just hate having the same colour name as 90% of the members

also it will let people use the gold for other thing instead of buying accounts

Yeah but, think of it like this. If Plobby takes the gold, who cares? He can make it. He can take it away from you anyways. Well, get to UG Silver and be part of the 2% or whatever in it. That's my suggestion.

Maybe the ability to change user titles? The things under your username...

I was just suggesting it based off the fact on the old LG people could pay an admin to change them and a lot of people had custom ones.

True, true. That would make sense. I'm sure a lot of people would buy it if it was cheap enough. Maybe $.50 to 1$.

50 cent = 47 cents after Paypal's take, thus, less than half of a dollar is completely useless, for the "chaos" it would create... Plus, would you waste your time doing something like that for that little of money? 5$ I can see, but less than 1?

There's a mod called iShop that contains this stuff. I think. Can't be certain. But mods do exist that do this.

I can't say I like the idea, exactly.

Not a really good idea cause it would fuck up the mod/UG system and people could get this and say they are mods to new people and scam.

maybe they could make it so you cant have the same colour as staff and they could block a range so you cant make it look like it

The ability to have custom usertitles is being saved for the usage of upcoming contests. But in order for those contests to happen we must have an active forum. Advertising is the biggest issue so far.

^Thinly veiled disguise for telling us to advertise. Wanna tell us any future contest ideas?

Quite a big one has been approved by Alex, prize will be 100$ plus a custom usertitle. But we're gonna wait until the forum returns to being active.

Gabe, you were in LG 1.0 and you know how much the admins got pissed when everyone (including myself) asked for name changes? How about they could simply just purchase one. VBCustomizer would be great for that. I'm pretty sure Arti knows how to integrate it into the iCash system.

also what are you using for advertising? i find the best way is word to mouth for my business i do

@topic - i like the idea but i think it would be better if it was paid on USD at 1st so the site has more incoming money for the members of LG i remember on a site i was admining that when you donated money to the sites paypal you;d get a custom username where it changes colors in every single post even on refreshs your username color would change from all sorts of colors and mix them all as well

It wouldn't be hard for the staff here to just make a system for you to buy things like username changes.

Along with other such features. I don't think vB supports username colors by default (outside of usergroups), so I guess they could just make predefined name colors, as that would be easier than created another column in the user table.

But username changes would be easy to make manually. So ask Arti to do it.

I think this idea sucks...You have to earn your color change like the rest of us...Its truthfully not that hard
