Already taken. I can make you a trainer in that gym that you have to battle before getting to the leader though.

It's an EXE based game.
I'm still working out a few kinks.
I'm going to keep it hosted 24-7.
I'll post the server address in the thread
You download the program, open it up, choose the server to join
Then bam. Your journey begins.

It saves, and acts just like a real Pokemon game.
The only difference is you're all walking around and there's a chat and everything.

Until I can figure out how to browser-base it, I'm going to keep it as a downloadable game.

Oh so you're not coding it yourself, it's a pre-made thing.

A little bit, but not exactly.

It's got the game template of the old Ruby/Sapphire games.
Coding in the new pokemon, sprites, maps, icons, prices, attacks, character types, etc. is everything I need to do myself.
But as far as gameplay and set up goes, it's converted from the old GBA files, so I can edit them. Which also requires coding.

it's basically a kit to create your own pokemon game.

I think, if you're up to it, you should make it change from night to day, depending on the time.

I already have it set to do that ^_^

30 minutes here = 12 hours in game.

So every 30 minutes it lapses into night for 30 minutes then back into day.

Pokemon change too, between night and day. Not all of them though.

How far into development are you? I don't want a character but it'd be awesome to play. I've been searching for a Pokemon MMO for ages!

Pokemon World Online is a popular free pokemon MMO right now.

and I'm nearing the end of development for the game.

I think I tried it but didn't really enjoy it. I will give it another look though.

Its set up like the start menu in the pokemon games. But it's all options to edit/create/delete/etc,

of course. I'll have updates. So anybody who ends up wanting characters or their NPCs to have new pokemon after the game is released, then I"ll have times where I'll just take a day and put everything new in there, update it, then reset the server. (not your player data. Just turning the server off and then on again)
