Pokemon Cards?
Who still has them?
I tried selling mine recently. really didn't have much luck but the going rate on Charzard is like $30.
I've easily over 1000 cards just sitting around and I never even played the stupid game. Well except on my gameboy...kind of like Charles.
Right Charles ?

I wish I had that card.

I have a ton of cards, but most are the old ones. Which apparently aren't worth shit because apparently Nintendo says that cards older than only a few years can't even be used in tournaments, so people who still do play aren't interested in them.

I usually just try to swap them 1:1 with equal qualities. Commons mostly. I just like the pretty pictures on them.

I used to play all hardcore, but not since Rocket series, so ages back.

I have a few thousand cards in a huge box of pokemon stuff.

I have a lot of rare ones, some cool japanese ones, and other random stuff. A lot of spanish cards too. A lot of my cards are older though, the original Pokemon TCG 1 and 2 sets and stuff like that. I bought a few newer booster packs when Diamond and Pearl came out because I really wanted Arceus, but besides that I don't have any cards newer than Pokemon Advanced I think.

I loved the Rocket and Gym Leader Series. I got out shortly after those.
Dark Mewtwo and Gengar, man. Rocket'sScyther. Some of the coolest interpretations of pokemon in my opinion.
Any one else remember how awesome you felt when you saw th first movie and got your Ancient Mew card?
#5
I sold all my cards except a holographic charizard, which is severely fucked up
#6
I have bags of my old cards.
I used to love playing
#7
I gave them out to my little cousin. I could never understand the TCG.

I stopped before Gym, though I was familiar with some of the Japanese Gym cards.

The first Rocket pack I bought was unlimited (not first edition). It ended up being a pack of first edition cards in an unlimited edition wrapper. Holographic Dark Dragonite. Yeah. Yeah. That's what's up.

I brought some pokemon cards to school one day in 2nd grade, including a shining celebi, my principle took them away and I tried getting them back later but she said she gave them to someone else thinking they were me. Thats when I stopped collecting pokemon cards.

My pokemon cards got stolen when i was in third grade. Then my third grade teacher found out why i was crying, took away the rest of my cards and gave it to her son. I was going to punch that stupid bitch in the face. I hope I see her again one day so I get to. Pretty sure that's the equivalent of property theft that dumbass hoe.

Uhh. That is literally illegal. You should do something about it. Even if nothing results of it, it should at least be on record at the school that she stole from you. She might do it to other students.

Well this was over a decade ago. I doubt they'd report it now. Back then I didn't know how to fight for my right to party (with pokemon cards). Yeah I do know that now (that ive taken some law classes) but back then all I could think of was "screw her wtf :("

I sold my Pokemon cards to this rich Asian kid, charged him 100 per deck full of ordinary and probably 5 special cards... then he bought all since he wanted a Rayquaza so bad... sold all of mine for about 800...

Exactly what the shits do they do then? Can they actually be used in poke card battles? LMAO
#26
I forgot when my parents threw away all of my cards.
I was mad.

Now I have a binder full of old baseball cards, no idea how much they are worth.

To trade and collect and then sell when you get old.

There are some versions you can play games with but mostly they are memorabilia

So exactly why does a famous japonese spokes person get his own TCG card? LOL

Did you watch the video? He helped get pokemon of the ground in Japan. He was really popular at the time and promoted pokemon as a mascot.

Oh, I kind of skimmed. You know that is an interesting thought. I never bothered to consider pokemon would have to kick start things off just like any other anime, game or series which generates popularity to keep it going.

Good job pokemon, you're still alive!

Pokemon is weird. Typically you get a manga, then an anime, then video games and maybe a TCG.
Pokemon went video game, TCG, anime, manga.

I actually played the Pokemon TCG online while it was in beta this past summer

I used to frequent a forum called Castelia City, it was a great Pokemon forum. I remember when the TCG came out online in beta, everyone on the forum was all over it the very first day. It was great, we had a lot of fun.

That forum is gone now though :(

TCG online is still fun though. You just need to spend IRL monies on code cards so you can actually play with something other than the cpu

This is why I hate online versions of card games. They always try for way too much profit. If you had to pay to buy the game and expansions but could just use codes already on your cards while still earning new cards from playing I'd be in but no what they always do is you have to pay monthly and spend money either on special codes to get get cards or earn your cards by slaving away for months just so you can have a usable deck.
