Mods?

Just wondering what are some suggested mods to expand gameplay I have Biomes o' plenty. I just want to have more to do and build with on Survival mod.....any suggestions I'd appreciate it.

There's Tekkit that I've played around with.

Also there's the one that let's you do programming and computer stuff within Minecraft.

Can't remember the name of it at the moment.
