Help. Win. XP shit.

Alright so I just got a pop-up saying that I may be a victim of software counterfeit or whatever.. so how do I remove it and put in my new serial code?

First I download Win. XP.. Then that popped up so I went and brought the CD and shit.. now I dont know how to change the serial code.. D:

Not 100% sure about Xp. Press win+r and type

%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a

Click yes

Then choose phone acivation.

And then "Change product key"

And then click update.

Then restart.

Err.. what happens if it kill my computer D:
I already crash like 3 of my computers xDD
