Everyone and their dog pirates in this day and age, if you let scare tactics get you then you lose out in the end.

I do not fear it. If I pirate something and I like the content then I pay for it. If I do not like it then I just delete it. For example: I pirated Photoshop and loved the program so I bought the entire CS4 suite.
