But since they share they IP, they have no way of knowing that the accounts are from different people.
They assume the accounts belong to the one person that scams or w/e.
There shouldn't have been a wrongful ban because of IP.

That's just taking it far out of context.
He used cheats on one IP, Account 1 more than likely a mule to earn money to send to his main. Account 2 is the main which has not used cheats. Account 3, is someone else account on the same IP address.
Account 2 and 3 are banned along with 1 as it was used to illegitmately have an advantage, even though 3 did nothing wrong. They have to take precautions as 1 + 2 have had connections.

They don't ban accounts just because they're on the same IP. They check for IPs first then they search gift history, trading history, etc. to check for the hacked items that's being tracked. If they can't find it on the accounts then they either leave as is or red flag it. I got an account of mine banned on a computer with 2 other people using gaia on it, and only my account was banned, the other accounts were safe.

If they got banned then there's a chance they got a hacked item.
If they never did, go to the page and on the bottom it says "Contact Us". Tell them that if they could run another search on a freshly banned account and ask them to take off ban because they never did anything. Explain to them the situation, etc. It'll take awhile so it's just better to make them a new account.

Does it really matter if you got banned. I would be pissed off if i put in real currency on the site, but if no real money was put into the account then you only lost something you got for free.
