Firstly, WTF does "songs compatible with iPod" mean? Since when does anyone download songs in any format other than MP3?
Secondly, learn to torrent. You don't have to download the entire album. You can select each song individually (including a single song if you want).

Well, you don't really have trry if the song format is compatible with your iPod (MP3, obviously), as you could just convert it with FormatFactory.

You could try searching through rapidshare/megaupload.
MegaDownload.net - megaupload.com and rapidshare.com search engine
If you are going to download torrents, I'd recommend kickasstorrents.com. Some torrents are HTTP download ready, and you could grab a single MP3 off an album that way.
