You guys almost lost me

I spilled mountain dew on my router and modem.

Wiped them both off, unplugged the modem, wiped it off, let it sit upside down on a towel for a few minutes, turned it on and off repeatedly until it didn't hiss, and reset it 50 times, but it's working again.
