I got mine off last year, never had to have spacers or any teeth pulled.

Never needed teeth pulled, but I did have spacers.
Oh, they were a walk in a flower-filled park, with magical gnomes and rainbows everywhere.

But yeah, I only have my top row in as of right now, next month I get the bottom row in, reason I only have top first, is because I have an underbite, and if they put both rows in at first, it'd ruin the point of braces, and it would be painful, and I would probably break loads of brackets.
