I know that microsoft used force hard drive reformat when you upgraded and you lost whatever was on the drive unless you backed up. Is this still the case?
I assume it is.
I'm pretty sure this is still the case.
I tried to upgrade just a few weeks ago but couldn't unless I reformatted my whole drive. So I plan on sticking with crappy Vista for a while longer till it drives me insane.
Its on my laptop.
And vistas on my dads big comp
So i mean, i kind of upgraded i guess?
I kind of like windows 7. Just wish my dell mini could have a background.D<

Give me ten reason I can't counter as to why Vista sucks.
Because I still think its awesome. I'm only upgrading because its free.
The reformat isn't a huge deal for me since I have two hard drives and I can just shove stuff over and then move it back. Just curious.
I've put the forum in archive mode - keeping basic chat here in case people drop by with a message. If anybody is still around happy to talk about building a small new little community, otherwise will just leave it archived.
