There are plenty of homosexuals with children. Not all of them adopted. Homosexual men like having sex with homosexual men, they would see it as recreation, while using the women for procreation. And vice versa for homosexual women.

I still see that as defeating the point of the homosexual. If you're gonna go do chicks any way, you may as well just do chick. Chick ass isn't going to be that different from man ass...less hair hopefully.

Well, that and homosexuals have a hard life. Its not a good environment for kids to be raised in. Also its going to confuse the hell out of kids because if they aren't homosexual and are raised by them and that's their example of family and how a potential mate should act and how they should play their role they will have no hope of finding a mate.
That and if nature/god/whatever wanted homosexuals to have kids they would be able to reproduce unaided, but we know and have documented it as a environmental trigger to control population.
