New Year's Resolutions and Christmas Hauls
What's on the table for you lot?

I'm not sure it would qualify as a resolution but I'm hoping to spend some time in Japan some time in the middle of 2020. That and to pay off a chunk of my mortgage if all goes accordingly. I have some other goals in mind but it all depends on my monetary situation.

Christmas wise I got a Castlevania: SotN OST vinyl, a Final Fantasy 1-6 artbook and a copy of Death Stranding with is surprisingly a lot better than I was expecting it to be based on reviews and the like.

Probably gonna get back in shape this year.

Also found myself not into gaming that much as before. I spend my time mostly listening to music and Youtube/Anime.

I received Outer Worlds. I just finished my first play through. Was rather good. I've been disappointed in a lot of video games recently.
I also received an airbrush and some glass cases for the models I paint.

2020 is hopefully a year of travel for me. I'd like very much to get to some of the larger tabletop game conventions this year. If I can find a good job in the next few months then that should be do-able. Outside of that I'm hoping to get start a new band.

Got really into audiophile grade gear and lost track of how much I've spent on it already. Well, as long as I feel happy about it I guess.

I heard good things about the Outer Worlds but open world games aren't really my thing. The only reason I wanted to try Death Stranding was because of the abstract story and even that's giving me trouble because of the open world nature. What type of models do you paint? I'd love to get a 3D printer and make and paint various props from games but I have literally no experience in doing that yet.

Conventions are cool, I often frequent a somewhat local retro gaming convention a few cities over to pick up new titles for my collection. It's nice to be able to physically see the items before purchasing unlike ebay and you can normally get a pretty good deal too.

What type of band? I'm currently trying to learn Giorno's theme (From Jojo) on guitar because I'm sad like that 😅

Any kind of band really. I just want to play music again.

*looks at my PLX-1000 and recent record pickups*

still relatable, i need a good phono pre amp now.

after that i've got a pair of Klipsch RP600M speakers on my wish list.

I'm more on portable audio stuff. Like headphones, In-ears, Earbuds, DAPs and DAC/AMPs.

If it's speakers and on a budget check out the Hivi Swans M10.
