I think we established many months ago that moderators force the person that got the item for an extremely lesser value than its market price is forced to give the item back to the seller. They did this to stop market snipers iirc.

That is bullshit. : (
Must have happened because of when new items get on the Market Place, it is a buy/sell frenzy, and some people forget a 0 or a number sometimes, so it is less, etc...

Still BS, seeing that you have to go through what? 2 conformations?

Their fault for being in so much of a rush.
And priced at 1 gold? COME ON. There couldn't be anything more intentional.

How intentional it is generally means that someone gained access to someone else's account and tried to "sell" the items worth anything to their mule accounts. Lots of times, someone else manages to snipe the item before they are able to grab it.

Especially if they're running Market Bots. ;D

What Torian said. It's to prevent scammers from selling a cracked account's items for cheap in the Marketplace to make it look like a legit sale as opposed to trading. I'd be interested to see if OP's item gets sent back.

Okay, first off, i call bullshit, because of the date: Thu Nov 05, 2009 10:35 pm

Second, the buyer does not get punished for buying mispriced item, an omni mod posted this publicly some time ago.

Third, Crazii dumped it on purpose.
