Unreal Engine 4
My friend approached me about some game design concepts.

We settled on using UE4 for development, using blueprints looks awesome.

Anyone else here playing with UE4, unity, or other general game engines?

We looked at panda3d, godot, and a few others.

3d or 2d?
and good luck working with UE4 lol documentation isn't great

I recommend GMS for 2d and Unity for 3D

by GMS you're talking about game maker right?

that's what my friend wanted to use, but I've been interested in the power that is UE4.

found this toolkit that I've been working on understanding.

That's not bad, but if you're making 2D GM:S is 99% of the time, the way to go, supports rapid development. I've used it many times.
