It's crazy to think back on how long you've actually been a part of LG.
I will never forget those who I met over a decade ago on this site.

<3 Without LG I wouldn't be who I am today, and wouldn't do professionally what i do.
#3
Being on LG pushed me to become a programmer and I am very thankful for that. The skills I learned here have been invaluable in real life.
#4
I know what you guys mean. LG was a huge part of my life for a very long time. I still pop in every now and again.

Stopping by for the first time in quite a few years here. It would be cool to have a semi-reunion? I only recognize some names though, I think there was a second wave of activity after I left.

Did the site get completely rebuilt at some point? I can't remember, but I know at one point I had around 2,000 posts and was much more active than this profile suggests. Did the database get blown apart in the distant past?

If I remember correctly. Due to legal action from Gaia, Artificial lost all the data on the server. As a result the entire site was rebuilt into LG 2.0. Shortly after 2.0 died I took over and then the third wave happened. When I dropped off the internet due to real life being fked up Charles took over.

There was a period between you and Charles where I was basically admin since no one else was and I had an ungodly amount of control for no real reason.

That said I don't even remember how long I've been on LG any more. I know it was in high school that I started messing with Gaia and LG. I think it was my sophomore year which would have been like 2005 or 2006 so 10 or 11 years now. I don't think I've ever been away from the forum for more than a couple month even if I've just been lurking.

I'm trying to get Alex to transfer LG to my server. I don't want to invest in advertising a website I don't have control over.

Ok guys. I'm all in on this. I want to shift the focus of the forums to more relevant games. Also focusing on individual forums for Faze, Optic, etc.
#15
I'd be down. I'd donate. I'm an adult now, yay money!

Let me know if you would need help hosting it or anything, I've got a small legion of servers.

Also, that really sucks that all of that LG history got deleted :/

what even happened to gaia? I logged on out of curiosity and everything has been inflated to ridiculous levels.

I would be down to start an overwatch team / group

that's a cool game right now isn't it?
#20
FFXIV! Overwatch! VR stuff! Just a general game programming board instead of our old h4x0r styles would be really awesome.
#21
Sorry guys, I've contacted Alex multiple times. He is not getting back to me. Looks like it won't happen. R.I.P LG.

Oh snap an LG revival?!
#29
LG inspired me to pursue a career in computer security, which I'm still doing to this day.

Have to say thanks to everyone on this site for helping (and insulting, lol) me so much as a kid,
it actually helped me grow a lot as a person and as a programmer.

So, what ever happened with Artificial/Alex? I haven't seen him post or interact with the website in a number of years, even back in like 2012 when I first left. Whats the deal with that?
