good ol days
They will never be back, nor will I ever be 13 years old thinking people on LG are actually L33t hax0rs.
I miss it.
Hard to believe I've been apart of this community for 9 years.
also:
hi
not staying probably be back in 6 months.
"herr derr not apart of community herr derr gtfo"
kbye
hi html, still using laravel?
too be young again would really be something.
We all reminisce about when times were less shitty, but it's pointless to make threads on a clearly dead site about it (typically made to bitch about how dead the site is).
LG will never be the same because of how drastically times have changed in general. Gaia is dead, desktops are dead. It is the mobile/smartphone era now.
Forums are dead. Everything is dead. OK?
damn man..
dont make me feel feelings
let us collectively feel feelings bro.
Everything sucks now and I hate it all
Don't know if it will matter, but in a few months when my next project is released I'll send some traffic this way.
Hopefully you guys can keep 'em here
Until this site gets a major overhaul I'm not sure any amount of traffic would matter. Pointless if you can't make 'em stay. I got a pretty good amount of traffic going just by mass spamming different sites like dueling network but eventually that just faded out.
I honestly think something BIG would need to happen to LG for it to have any chance of becoming an actual site again. I have no idea what, but meh. Honestly things are just "evolving" too fast (if you want to call advancing yet somehow becoming shittier evolution).
Just look at Cheat Engine, Zerozaku. All of these sites like LG are even worse than we are now. It's crazy. Gaia becoming an absolute shit hole didn't help the case.

What is this project of yours that you have in mind?
I made an avatar site, 100% done. IT was pretty damn good for a site written from scratch, but it went down after I went to basic training.
That was my 'programming' goal. Been thinking how to top it and said fuck it and started to develop a game.
Basically, it's an arena-based shooter game. It'll be running on node on the server and Quintus on the client. About 80% done
Features
10 on 10 battles
Swords as well as guns (medic weapons too)
Different attributes for each item (bleed damage etc)
leveling system (some weapons require a certain level)
badges to unlock for in-game performance (kill everyone on opposing team etc.)
Custom purchasable cosmetic items
A town area to walk around and chat before heading into your arena
A lot of other shit.
That sounds kind of similar to an old game I used to play called Stick Arena.
TBH if it's good it could easily become pretty popular. Would like to stay updated on this project.
ur not suppose to find out where i got my inspiration from that quickly..
but yeah..it's a better version with pixelated characters and much less hacking.
nodejs is pretty cool.
they have some weird stuff going on with the community with io.js.
im not very fond of writing javascript though, but i'm still rather new to the language.
for work i'm using this framework sencha touch to make a mobile style app.
(ps you should drop your code on github for the avatar system)
Everything is dead, we all just come and go.
