Since moving away from Gaia is the best idea ever, how about a new focus being F2P games? It's a new market, and rightfully so, as I think it's going to stay in the future of gaming. Every member is automatically in the target audience. I personally pick up a lot of F2P games; I don't know about you guys. And perhaps best of all, it includes everything already here -- Gaia, RuneScape, browser games, you name it. The microtransaction backing of them is easy to mimic with a website as well.
Just wondering. I could throw up some F2P forums ezzzzzzz
If people here are interested in downloading F2P games that are given forums, then yeah. If people here don't like F2P games, it's not good.
Soooooooooooooooo, who here would download games just to discuss them on LG?
That's not the best approach. You should check stocks and surveys to see what the most popular games have been lately and then build around that. We have a small community, pandering to it is pointless. If we're changing focus we may as well run with whatever is popular with a wider audience.
I play LoL with buddies from work, I have several Pokemon MMOs I dabble in, I have Ragnarock installed too but I don't play because I have no one to play with, same with WoW(private server).
As far as trying to attract a community around games Diablo 3 has a large and revitalized player base right now but that's less F2P.

A small community isn't large enough for us all to play a common game. Of course those most popular with the members would be the ones added, but even those would be only played by a handful, and the content would still rely on new users picking the game up -- or advertising (the funding for which we don't have, nor would it really be worth the investment).

There were LoL and WoW forums. They both died of inactivity.
I've yet to stumble upon a f2p game that I enjoy besides LoL,
but im open to suggestions and id be more than happy to give feedback in return.
The only issue I might have is I might not be able to try all of the suggested games because my computer came from Walmart.

not a fan of either to be honest.
Dota is much harder than league
everything is so nice I just want to look at the map instead of trying to kill enemies
TF2 is okay I suppose im just not good at it either nor do I wish to improve.
Play instant respawn servers in TF2. You don't have to be good at it to enjoy it. Just don't play Engineer or Spy. Play whatever else is fun to shoot things with, then shoot things. Did ammo leave your gun? Good job, you succeeded in TF2ing.
take a low level noob in wow or any F2P mmo take him to a high level area in group since you can fight shit there and xp is shared
he will gain levels until he is desired and doesn't want to be leveled anymore
