I really like that show, I've always wondered why the production time between seasons is so long. Kind of like the venture bros.

This is some pretty bad exaggeration. I'm sure there's been plenty of shows with sustained success with the absence of one of the cast. The theme of the Boondocks is still the same; they just need good ideas and some comedy people.
