Worlds largest FLP, should net a few million Gaia accounts in a day
I need people willing to help.

Yeah, I haven't been around much, but that shouldn't matter. I'm not from EBU or some other forum like that, I'm born-and-raised LG.

If you want to help me accomplish this and share in the profits, I just need one thing:

An FLP hosted on a server by itself, so that it's accessible by IP. Also, the server should be able to hold a good amount of traffic, because we'll be inheriting all of Gaia's traffic for an entire day.

The FLP itself will be Gaia's normal main page, the one that says sign up or login and all of that, and also has the current news and whatevs. The page you see when you go to gaiaonline.com when logged out.

This will be huge in scale, and will be highly illegal (more so than other FLPs)

It will net us a good 4m accounts if it all goes well. Who wants in?

LOL, I was rasied at gaming gutter.

Not sure how you're getting 4m per day.

I would say this could be set-up on a vps though.

Trust me, this would be huge scale, and get TONS of attention from Gaia.

I'll give a little hint: I can make Gaia's homepage redirect to our FLP for an entire day, so when they type in Welcome to Gaia | Gaia Online it goes to our FLP instead of the actual Gaia.

The only thing we need though is an IP address to redirect to, that we can connect to to get our FLP.

So, If your serious about this it might be better to have it direct through some proxies, for a little extra protection.

This would use a ton of bandwidth as well, i can only imagine the stress gaia's servers take.

yeah, exactly. If only there was some way to implement Tor on a webserver haha, just have it bounce through Tor before getting to our connection, that would be great.

Ha, my old FLP (when I was a new member in like 2008) did that -- proxied Gaia, but just copied the login information that was submitted.

It's a pretty good idea, but I doubt you'll find a dedicated host for it. Although at the same time, you don't need a dedicated IP, unless you are intending on fucking with people's DNS caches. Which I assume then that you are. I'd suggest alternatively a proxy that logs logins; that is spammable to any free host and wouldn't require any client-side execution to modify anything like DNS caches.

Have fun, I remember the thrill of looking through accounts for hours and finding the best ones. My best find (not that you care) was an 08 with 10s of letters of 03 items. You can imagine my joy. But yeah, have fun making money duder.

Yeah, I'm going to do it through DNS poisoning and social engineering of their DNS provider. Its a fun method, I really like it.

I said 4m accounts, not 4m gold. As in, four million separate Gaia accounts.

Also there will be no spreading, Gaia's entire homepage will be our FLP when this happens. So anyone that goes to gaia is automatically in our FLP, we don't even have to give them a fake URL.

Oh that's cool, it's been a while since I've seen you around here too. How have you been?

Been good, senior year just started, going for straight A's this year.

J/w did you find the vulnerability for the homepage?

What makes you think you'll get 4 million accounts per day? >_>

You'd have to infect like half of every Gaia user to do that.

I dont think Alexx registered that he meant 4 million actual accounts and not 4 million gold.

Oh nice, same here. Parents said I can head out to DEFCON next august and they'll pay for it if I can get straight A's, so that will be fun.

Well, every user that logs into Gaia that day will have their password stolen by us, so it's somewhere between 1 and 4m I think.

Yeah

Sorry I have a tendency to read things fast and not catch the smallest of details.
4 million accounts? Sounds pretty good but I would say Gaia's population is pretty small now...

@Omlett yeah it's been dry for a real long time man.. I'd have to invest in getting something cool when I get a decent paying job for once.
So far I've only discovered how to get free shit and getting your money refunded or some other thing that is sort of well pretty much really illegal but fuck it... #Yolo
