Bad luck

Last night I had every single hard drive in my computer fail at the same time. Not sure how it happened but it did and I lost everything .

So how many hard drives is that?

Four, two 320gb and two 750gb.

Were they in a RAID setup. Only other possibility I could think of is some kind of sudden power surge on the computer.

I don't use raid so I was assuming it was a power surge but the only thing that got damaged was the HDD's which is kind of strange.
