What are your plans?

I got a birthday party to attend later, but that's aboot it.

Sit at home alone and do absolutely nothing

I went trk because Canada.

Was going to go swimming, but decided not to.

So nothing pretty much.

Just they opened the pool here. I've been meaning to swim but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Both my parents were in the Navy for a combined 35 years, so I'm gonna eat delicious steaks with them.

I'm gonna have a few drinks with a couple of my fellow vets, for those that can't drink them themselves.

I was about to make a joke about being a vet of the Iraq war, but then I realized damn, it really is a war. Maybe not as intense as shit like Vietnam or WWII or someshit, but people are dying nonetheless.

Realize Flare, that I don't like you enough to let it slide.
And yes it's a war, and no it's not like Vietnam or WWII, but it is still a war, and people are still dying. Some of them I knew. Hence why I have had a few shots in their honor tonight.

Luckily, none of my friends in service have/had lost their lives.

One of my uncles tested planes during Vietnam, and a lot of others served. Maybe it was luck but they made it out fine. But dem foofighters man, heard some stories haha.
